Founded in 1987, Monitrol is a privately owned company that has become a leader in electronic controls through its technological advances and the diversity of its products. Monitrol continues to expand by developing and manufacturing new products, including hardware and software for the agricultural and industrial sectors. Sold under their own Varifan trademark and other names, Monitrol produces internationally distributed controls, modules, probes, and software.

Being involved in every aspect of production from the design stage, through the programming stage, to the final testing stage gives Monitrol complete control over the quality of its products. This allows Monitrol and its highly trained multidisciplinary team to ensure that every product is built according to its specifications and meets the clients’ needs.

Monitrol works closely with its customers producing many configurable controls that can be specifically designed for each individual client or application. These controls may be adapted and changed as the client’s needs evolve. Monitrol produces products for the pork, poultry, dairy industries, and greenhouses as well as for the industrial sector. These regulators can control heat, ventilation, humidity, and lighting and may also be used in conjunction with modules that add extra functions, lending even more flexibility to Varifan controls.
